Explore the possibility to use BLE technolgoy to detect the position of a tag, distinguishing between: outside the wagon, inside the wagon and the area of the wagon.
The solution
A BLE antenna with strong directional characteristics was developed. The signal analysis carried out using STM's STM32WB component made it possible to understand the potential of such an approach, also comparing it with the performance achievable with UWB systems.
