An expansion to support the customer

The acquisition of Akerue srl, a company founded in 2004 and an expert in cluster computing, has given DAOS all the necessary skills to develop the advanced software solutions that the market needed. But our customers had changed and it was no longer possible to conclude our work with just the blue prints, leaving them to take care of production . And this is how the third acquisition followed.
 
The historic Procustom company, active since 1969, which has always been involved in the construction of prototypes, engineering of electronic products and their maintenance. DAOS has thus equipped itself with the necessary skills to support these activities, which are of fundamental importance for the success of a product.
But that still wasn’t enough, because the market has changed and DAOS customers are increasingly leading companies in their field, but far from the world of electronics and therefore ask us for a truly complete service.

Fusel, a historic electronic assembly company, became part of the DAOS group in 2012, finally allowing us not only to design, develop software and build prototypes, but also to manufacture finished devices, which, thanks to our new logistics service, can be shipped directly to the end user, without even passing through our customers’ warehouses.
To complete the offer, DAOS has over time established a network of partnerships with leading companies in their fields. marketing, industrial design, smartphone application development, advanced mechanical design, optical design. But also plastic moulders, sensor manufacturers, cable manufacturers.

Complete solutions, therefore, but no constraints. DAOS customers own everything that is developed, free at all times to produce on their own, outsource or continue development in-house.
The latter is the solution we prefer and we provide assistance and collaboration so that the path with DAOS is not only aimed at putting a new product into production, but is a path of growth and knowledge for our customers.
