Client briefing
We were asked to design a system that would be easy to install, would need no wiring into the lift installation, and would be able to collect and process data for transmission to the cloud.
The solution
Two units were designed, connected to each other over BLE. One is fitted on the car roof, the other attached to the car doors. Communication to the cloud is handled by an LTE modem; the local controller can also take in auxiliary data from third-party equipment.
